Storm's story
It has been a whirlwind of a few days for our boy STORM. He was spotted by volunteers in a Redland nursery. No one claimed him and no one knew where he came from. As he hopped along, his front legged just dangled there. We were able to trap him and have him assessed by our vets. The injury to his front leg was either a crush injury or his leg was chewed off. There was no way to salvage the foot and he had his front leg amputated today by an orthopaedic vet. He is a trooper! He is so strong! Our black beauty is just starting to learn how wonderful the world is. He is sweet and gentle and seems to bask in everyones affections. Would anyone be open to fostering this boy? Or better yet- adopting him? Aside from the leg injury, he is a healthy boy and we are so thankful he is heartworm negative. He is young, less than two years old.
